Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has been tipped to manage the club in the future by ex-team-mate Mark Bosnich.The former goalkeeper believes current Wales boss Giggs will return to the hot seat he briefly commanded at Old Trafford at some point soon.4

Giggs was handed the reins on an interim basis for the final four games of the 2013/14 season following David Moyes’ sacking, and Bosnich says the club made the right call not repeating this decision again.Another of Bosnich’s former United team-mates, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has been named caretaker manager until the end of the season following Jose Mourinho’s sacking.4

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Bosnich said: “I think one day Ryan Giggs could manage Manchester United.“He’s obviously on his path of learning his trade at the moment before he can go further forward.“I’ve know Ryan since I was 16, and he’s always been top class with me.“It wouldn’t have been respectful towards Ryan to come in again as caretaker and then just leave at the end of the season.”4

I can’t speak highly enough of him.“He’ll be able to lean on Sir Alex Ferguson for advice, too. I know he’ll give it his best shout.”
