Jamie Carragher has told talkSPORT the Premier League title race will NOT be over if Liverpool beat Manchester City in their Etihad Stadium showdown.Liverpool face the defending champions on Thursday night in a game many are tipping to be a potential title decider.Victory for the unbeaten Reds would take them nine points clear at the league summit and ten points above City, who currently sit third below Tottenham.Its a crucial clash for Jurgen Klopp’s men, which will put their credentialsto the test as they look to finally end the club’s 29-year wait for a league crown.

If team with the quality of Man City can lose that ground in a month to six weeks, theres no doubt it could happen to Liverpool as well.[If it ends in a draw] I think seven points would be a very good lead for Liverpool, but it can quickly be turned around in two or three games. Theres still an awful long way to go.If City lose it puts them in a very difficult position, but if they win it I think theyre right back in it.
